ProFicient: Here to Stay
ProFicient is a robust, comprehensive solution for manufacturers who understand that process quality improvements lead to greater product quality and a stronger competitive presence. As an integral part of the manufacturing process at many of the world’s leading companies, ProFicient is our flagship product. InfinityQS is committed to the continued support and development of this on-premises software solution—and our relationships with the manufacturers who rely on it.
Enact: A New Way to Transform Quality
For many companies, meeting the double demands of today’s complex technological landscape and increasing cost pressures make cloud computing and software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms a preferred approach. Such solutions can reduce the potential burden on IT infrastructures, minimize initial deployment costs, and maximize scalability. Advances in cloud technology are enabling greater mobility and more flexible data access. With all these factors in mind, InfinityQS has developed the next evolution in Quality Intelligence technology: Enact.
Naturally, our ProFicient customers have questions about this new platform: what it is, what it means for them, and how ProFicient and Enact relate to one another. Here, we answer some of those questions.
What is Enact?
Enact is a new approach to solving the challenges of total product quality management, providing a visual, flexible way to coordinate all the vendors, raw materials, and activities that affect total product quality. As a built-for-the-cloud SaaS platform, Enact is not an upgrade to—or replacement for—ProFicient. Rather, Enact is an entirely new way to meet the needs of today’s quickly evolving modern manufacturing organization. Like ProFicient, Enact provides system-wide visibility and operational insights that can lead to a global business transformation through quality improvement. In Enact, process models and part recipes reveal the core of each process, and a visual, mobile dashboard provides real-time alerts and quality system information.
Must ProFicient customers move to Enact?
The simple answer is no. ProFicient is our flagship product, and we intend to continue developing and supporting it. ProFicient customers can continue to make full use of its capabilities.
What about ProFicient On-Demand?
Current ProFicient On-Demand clients can continue using the product with full support. However, we will no longer offer ProFicient On-Demand to new customers. Enact offers a more robust alternative and will be offered instead for manufacturers who desire a cloud-based solution.
Can I see Enact in action?
